Family Business...
Owners of Denham's Rest Alan & Helen Denham share a passion for projects and a love of rural life. Alan is an experienced joiner and Helen has a keen eye for detail and a love of interiors. After having completed various projects together over the years they decided to embark on this new project which would allow Helen to run the business around raising their three children.
In 2022 The Denham's gained planning permission for a glamping site comprising of three self built luxury shepherds huts. They designed, built and finished the first shepherds hut, outsourcing help only where absolutely necessary with a strict deadline.

Baby number three arrived the very same day the first guests did!
They have now begun work on their second shepherds hut 'Fox'.
Whilst thoroughly enjoying sharing their peaceful little corner of the countryside with guests, alongside work on the new hut Alan and Helen are continually working on improving the site and have lots of exciting new plans on the horizon.

"We had alovely, relaxing weekend at the Shepherds Hut. It was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The views were beautiful - it was so nice sitting out with a wine even in October! The bed sheets smell divine. We went to Clitheroe for the day then had a delicious meal at the Buck Inn."

"A beautiful haven in the middle of peaceful countryside. So many home comforts packed in, everything has been thought of! Safe for the children to explore, they loved the donkeys, cows and sheep to wake up to! We walked down the lane to the local pub/ restaurant to see more animals and extend their adventure. They jumped in puddles, whispered to sheep, spotted rabbits, watched mother duck and her ducklings go by... and the kids were kids again! We will 100% be coming back, its a gem with and without children"

"We had an amazing time, the hut was stunning. Peacefully located surrounded by beautiful nature. The hut had everything and more you would need. The detail was well thought out and modern. Bathroom was a great size with a really good shower. Everywhere was super clean. Us and our 4 year old really loved the stay. Would recommend anyone to stay here and we hope to be back!"
